Hi Everyone.
I am new to Drone Flying and have inherited a DJI Spark. It looks like it been changed just 15 times.
Everything appears to work OK but when I try to take off it just erratically hovers a few inches off the ground and I have to land it..
I have calibrated the IMU and the compass several times but this does not help. The GPS appears to be working correctly.
I have downloaded DJI Assitant 2 and reset to Factory Setting.
Any further tips or thoughts from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a syndrome that sometimes affects these older units. Here's a link to videos and discussed solutions for nyut-nyut or hoppy Spark.  If not that, could be an issue with props or battery.

Hi, OldJack. Thanks for reaching out and posting your concern. This issue may occur when the folded propellers are not unfolded fully when the motors start. Please check the propellers before using or use another set of propellers and fly the Spark again. Kindly make sure also that you're using an original DJI Spark propeller.

Does it have dji props on it? I had this happen to mine with aftermarket, cheap props.
