my air 2 is set to 389ft max hight and 250ft but when i rth it will go to 250ft when it sstart back it will go to 389ft if I try to bring it back down i can only get it to come down to 350ft and it slows down the forwad speed to about 2 mph if i release the down joystick it will go back to 389 ft any idea what i can do to fix this i can't use rth if there are oth air craft in the area
Were you returning towards a low setting sun? If so, then the obstacle avoidance may be seeing the sun as an obstacle and trying to climb over it on the return flight. The cure for this is not to use RTH but to put the aircraft in sport mode and fly it home manually. Sport mode turns off obstacle avoidance.
As Geebax asked already, RTH heading 155 ; what time of the day was this flight?
MA2 is sensitive for sun into the lens, disable OA if you like to fly back on a RTH mode.
Sometimes when i am lazy i use RTH to get the correct heading towards home, after yawing i cancel the RTH and fly home manually
if the sun is out or not out or night it will not return to home any time I try to rth it will go to my rth hight at 283ft starts back and keeps jumping up about 25 feet levels out for about 3 seconds and jumps up again over and over until it reaches my max hight of 389ft then is stops and hovers if i lose conection I wont be able to bring it back
I Just tried it again took it out 600ft rth hight 203ft in 600 ft it it went up to my rth hight of 203ft them jumped up to 277ft in 3 jumps went away from the sun and kinda towards the sun one time each direction

Is it providing any warnings while it is doing this? Try switching off obstacle avoidance and see if it is still happening.
I tried with obstacle avoidance off 3 times had no problems put obstacle avoidance on had my same problem turned off obstacle avoidance still had same problem I will have to mess with it some more this weekend Thanks
