Hey friends,First time posting, I searched for this before I posted so apologies if this is somewhere and I didn't see it.

I'm looking for a way to use the track feature on the RS2 and have it also track where I have the focus motor set. I sometimes have trouble making that control smooth with my trigger finger rolling on the dial.

My goal:
I was hoping to do something like a hitchcock dolly zoom shot. I put the focus motor on the zoom part of the lens and set my points at minimum and maximum zoom, then slowly back up as the motor smoothly and slowly zooms in.

Any tips for that? Thanks in advance!

I figured this out. Firmware update allows for calibrating focus motor. It is a brutal process on the lens mount though. That little motor is strong.

But the 3D focus calibration requires only  automatic focus motr calibration everytime with their twisting plate from the motor calibration  process issue
