Some landmarks of Tamsui (before known as Danshui)
I used to live here for 7 years, is a district in New Taipei City, just north of Taipei
Have amazing views of mountains, volcanos, rivers, historic sites, ocean and city, all in one small district

Very cool images, thank you for sharing.  I don't recognize any of the views, but it was 1986 when I was last there. My soon to be fiance taught conversational English at Tam Kang, I proposed to her there that February.

I lived for 7 years there and just moved to taichung half a year ago
And in those 7 years it has changed so drastically, i cannot even imagine the changes from 1986

Ah, the proposal was February 1986, in Tamsui (she said yes). We will celebrate 35 years of marriage this year. We would very much like to return for a visit. We took a trip to Hualien, which was very enjoyable.
