Does anyone fly with the gimbal cover on?  Looks like it would work fine.

You'll get an error message in display. Apparently the drone moves the gimbal a bit at startup.
Edit: By the way, your thread tittle doesn't help identify the topic much. Every thread in this section of the forum could have the same name if they used your naming strategy.

My understanding is that in N/S modes, the camera tilt is adjusted automatically as the aircraft pitch changes,  to maintain the user's desired angle. If the camera tilt is restricted by the gimbal cover, it would be bad for the gimbal tilt motor.
