Simple question, will it do any harm to the gimbal if you leave camera on it while not in use? Like just sitting on my table on the stand provided while in "storage" until I use. The camera is also on the gimbal facing down as putting on the lens cover made the gimbal front heavy and has tilted forward all the way down. Thank you.

Not at all, This is how I have had mine since day one, The Ronin case is very nice,
but I find it cumbersome to haul around for a one or two day shoot, and I have these type of jobs 3 or 4 times a week,
So having the Ronin "pre-setup" at home makes it easy for me to go out and shoot at a minutes notice.

But keep in mind dust is a bad thing especially for the camera and lens, I would cover it with a XXL pillow case or something to help protect it in the long term, I have a large antistatic bag my workstation was shipped in and I use that.

I also have extra foam lying around and I put it in between the bottom of the gimbal camera bracket and the base. Keeps it from unnecessary movement and jittering.
