No, only 01.02.0200 with DH companion app(Android) alsof in the US.
But downgrade to 01.02.0000 (recommended!) You have. Permanent FCC,no NFZ OR Heights limits

So I still benefit longer range better penetration even if I am in the US?  

I don't think so

with the 0015 you have penetration but maybe not where you thought.

There is a  possibility that these modification will work however, since it's not tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the reliability of the said process when in use. In addition, these modifications might cause damage or harm on your DJI FPV and can void the warranty of the said DJI Drone as well. Thank you.

Of course you don't recommend doing anything to the drone so you can control our freedom. @dji users : stop sharing this kind of stuff with dji, they just absolutely trashed us with the latest forced sneaky update, letting them control your aircraft. These are our purchased goods, we should be able to do as we wish with them, not being forced into anything by some chineese comunist company. I rest my case

How do I tell if it really works or not? Where can I check the drone is in CE or FCC mode?

I had the same experience,
unfortunately got a (forced) update when activating.
A letter to the manufacturer of the b3yond app has not resulted in anything either.
I hope to update the app soon.

Hey, DH has just released the downgrade to the drone
Unfortunately, not able to downgrade the goggles
Not sure it the unlock would need both downgrade in order to it work or not

As of now that I know of it does not work with the new update but they are working on it.

It must be working because i am at  .15 version on everything and i get 3km range with the motion controller which should be MUCH less on EU power settings. Also 3500m out at 50m high works with stock antenna's. Signal is very strong at 3500m out and 100m high. That cannot be 25mW EU settings right? For me the b3yond android app works just fine. Battery power is the limiting factor for me.....
