Jokes aside, coming over from the consumer side, what are you really getting? Yes, from what I can see, it's actually a decent price for a flying thermal camera of that resolution, it's a bit better in cold, and RTK accuracy would definitely help mapping/scanning/photogrammetry, but it's also promoted for SAR which to me, it seems you'd rather use something much stronger and more robust.

Are the specs for the expansion port published, do people make third party addons? Or is it just RTK, Beacon, Flood, Speaker?
Maybe it just happens to fit in a nice niche between big boy multi redundacy hex/octos and the smaller consumer stuff for use in more day to day operations?

Compatible DJI accessories consist of the following: M2E Beacon: Enables aircraft identification during flight at night or in low light areas. M2E Spotlight: Used for long-range illumination and searches in low light conditions, assisting the camera to shoot at night. M2E Speaker: Used for long-range, real-time broadcasting or audio playback. Just a reminder that DJI does not recommend using 3rd party accessories on your DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise. These 3rd party accessories might affect the said DJI drone when in use. There is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able work. However, since it's not yet optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might void the warranty of the said DJI product. Thanks for the insight, Stephen. Considering the enterprise for our company usage as well and this information will be useful for our decision.

So third party parts could exist ( I’ve not seen any) but there isn’t a spec or platform or “works with” kind of certification platform for accessories.
I can see integrating power and data fed back to the controller, do stuff with it like RF (wifi,radio,etc)  signal strength heat map, or triangulation, etc.
