Yes - or Colza as it's called here. From ground level the bright yellow colour is just developing.  I did a low-level flight over it with the Mini One, skimming the tops of the plants.  Video and pix to follow.

We have quite a lot of that in bloom here at the moment,  SHMBO'd is complaining about hay fever from it.

Great shot Blériot.    I like the way you caught the yellow colors just starting to show.  Be eventually it will be a field of yellows.

Hi RDB, thanks. In fact it was the striking yellow, already in evidence, that caught my eye as I was driving past.  More pics to follow from a low-level flight across the field with the Mavic mini One.

No, a lower performance model: A GepRC Cinelog 25, working with the DJI goggles and weighing less than 250g incl. the camera. So I can fly nearer people. Still need a spotter.
And it's more durable. Been crashing on the grass of our garden the whole time since it only has a manual mode and isn't that easy to fly for a beginner like me.

Colza is French for OilSeedRape. It's a cash crop used for oil production, rather than the fodder crops extensively grown around here.
