It depends how much the d-cinelike log will be damaged in the camera, the dji developers used a very high sharpness, this overloads the codec with a limited 80 Mbps for 4k 30fps.

Try shooting in High (Better) Quality when in low light, that should look good when graded.

2. On cloud already have a DCP profile (RAW photage/time-lapse).

I compared the V2 with V4 & the newer V4 is now showing more natural colors without clipping the highlights in RGB channels,
the V2 version showed bit more saturated colors so always had to reduce the saturation while using it. Look at bottom right Scopes in screenshots to see the difference.

V2 is more saturated & clips the highlight in individual RGB channels.


V4 is more natural retains more shadow details

I use capture one for editing raw time lapse, it’s the only free software that offers batch processing. Unfortunately the only file format accepted is icc. Suggest any software that doesn’t require a subscription that uses dcp? Would you be able to create a icc profile ?

Don't know if this is a stupid question, but is there a tutorial somewhere about using these LUTs? I am somewhat a novice yet, but I could certainly take some time to learn color-grading and similar skills.

The program I'd be most likely to use to do this would be DaVinci Resolve.

V2 the old version used official Color Correction Matrix (from dji).

V4 now uses especially calculated matrix for pocket 2 (ColorChecker).

Quick question - which one is the new v4 LUT file? I looked at the shared folder and there is "normal.cube" and "normal2-smoothed.cube"; I am assuming that the second one since the last modified date is on Sep 24?

@AvengerH , Greetings! the camera shoots in two profiles, in cinelike ( d-clike-rec709.cube ) and Normal (normal.cube + normal2-smoothed.cube)

*normal2-smoothed - Gaussian averaging is applied there, theoretically eliminates irregularities

Thank you!Just tried it on my Action 2 footage assuming they both gave the same sensor and cincelike curve. Colors look natural. I just needed to slightly decrease gain and increase lift to avoid clipping but otherwise not uch other corrections were required.
