Another video of my exploits with the DJI FPV drone. A bit of flying near the place I grew up, roof inspection in N mode, another snowy day. In the interest of not needing a spotter I installed a phone holder. At least in windy conditions and in M mode it's not a good idea. Another two props wasted.

Despite the crash it appears your flying skills are improving as well as your confidence.  Flips looked good also.  Might need to order a few more spare props.  I've crashed my cinewhoop more times than I can count but its normally a cheap repair.

Have two additional spare sets of props (8 singles), a bit pricey I think. Still worth it.
I crashed my new cinewhoopy thing a few times already and - this is bad - killed the camera. Need to wait for the spare part from the US or China now :-(

I tend to be too cautious anyway.
Here it was trying out flying with the phone screen. I guess that's not going to work in manual - at least at my present skill level. Maybe I'll have to perfect S mode flying for that use case.

Still I would have thought it easier: we do fly Mavics and Minis that way. But manual Mode seems to need constant adjustments that you (or me right now) aren‘t able to pull off unless fully „immersed“ in the flight by the goggles.

That probably explains why I crash in the simulator a lot.

Yes, probably. Though on Velocidrone on the computer it works very well for me.

On Velocidrone I got an add on for micro drones. Those were a lot more manageable. Then I "upgraded" to something that might be a cinewhoop (unfortunately the names don't tell me anything and most drones look/work the same to/for me). Now I use a normal/racing/whatever drone that is much harder. In some scenarios one is better for me, in others the other.
At first I completely sucked at it. Now it's a bit better...
