From the Battle of Salamis to the naval prisons, which made it look like the Greek Alcatraz, Psyttalia was associated with as many legends as its gull nests.
Today it hosts one of the largest Wastewater Treatment Centers in the world and is once again in the news.

Lol.. not exactly there but Piraeus in general has a lot of bars and very nice restaurants with fresh fish and other nice traditional Greek delicacies!!

Beautiful marina for the small boats.    Love the story and the comparison of small boat versus big boat.  Each have their specific function and co-exist quite nicely.  Have a great day.
