Since no solution has been proposed by DJI for the FX6/RS2 interface and looks like DJI has abandonned the idea to work on that...
Does anyone have a solution to trig the record with a basic RC, using USB, WIFI or network input ?
I'm thinking to a basic RC like Sony RM-VPR1 or one of it's cheapo clones.
Does this RC work with the FX6 ?
Other solution ?
Really interested
You could hook your phone up to the FX6 via the CBM app to control the camera functions, but unless you're using two phones you'll have to decide if you want to control the movement of the camera via raveneye on the gimbal or if you want to control the actual camera (iris, focus, record, etc) via the CBM app and control the gimbal solely manually
Yes, I know but it's not a solution for my need. I just need a simple button, not the bazooka to kill the fly
And the phone + support is not ergonomic
Actually, the best solution would be that DJI starts to work on that

Yea I'm still playing with setups to get to a good place functionally and ergonomically. The Tilta dual handle bracket has helped but after strapping on my ninja V, sometimes phone as well, and then having to reach up to the camera body to hit record is pretty ridiculous!

There would be a fix for that, but unfortunately the FX6 has not bluetooth

(does not work with FX6 but should work with FX3)
It's frustrating how close that is to being just what we need!
Sony is not 100% clear, to be honest.
The FX3 has the focus tracking, the FX6 not
The FX3 has the bluetooth, the FX6 not
The only way to control the FX6 remotely is the smartphone. There is no cable RC (except the $$$ RM30BP - Sorry Sony, I'm not ready to spend 1300€ just to push 'record'), no compatible WiFi RC, no PC nor apple SW. They work on the A7 series, not with the FX6
With the FX9 it is possible to access remotely to the full menus.
This solution does not work on the FX6
