Have just received my DJI sunshade absolutely brilliant best one have tried have had 4 up to now tablet does not fall out.

From what material is it made? Is it very soft?

I found out that using a sunshade where I live (Caribbean) tends to overheat my ipad mini much faster and lose video feed. So any sunshade is useless for me. Is better just to get a good quality mate screen protector. I also ordered SONY HMZ-T3 Head Mounted Display Personal 3D Viewer to see if is a better solution.

Good to know, thanks for the report. I just ordered one the other day myself.  I was using the PadHat from HoodiVision. It worked ok but I was not that happy with it. Looking forward to trying the DJI sunshade.

By any means a chance that there will be a hood for the Ipad Air 2? (240 x 169 mm.) in the near future?

Not that I have heard of. But I'm sure it's possible something will come out.

That's not true I've got a suntan it was 30c the over week

Are you using the iPad air or iPad mini size?  Would the mini be to small inside this sun shade?

okay that's great to know and thank you. I am using the iPad mini 2 for both of my controllers

I have one of the PadHats and not sure that I like it yet. It was 40 bucks and nice design, but still hard to see using it.

Hi Rich, I have a PadHats not impressed with it the dji one is the best I have tried
go 3 of eBay thay weren't that good modified one and use it on my 7 inch monitor
on my S900.

I am using the iPad mini also. So good to know thanks.

How does it attach? It doesn't look like Velcro.

Thanks just got mine. They did a great job, keeping it thin, makes it work. The RC holds the Ipad mini as if that's all its holding, nice and secure

I've been using mine now for a few weeks Worked perfectly

Excellent product, ordered a few days ago, and when it got home i realized that its not compatible with Ipad regular size, only Ipad Mini, my mistake....
