I thought I was alone, then they arrived like flies.
Forgive the jerky movements, it was the jerk operating the spark.
Taken some time ago at the Berg river dam near Franschoek, Western Cape South Africa.

bit like whenever you do something stupid there's always somebody to capture the event on camera. Oh well on the plus side looks like it's a great area to fly.

Indeed I go there often - usually no-one around and plenty of room to manuever, as well as being pleasant to the eye

It was intended to have concerts etc there - there is a small amphitheatre built into the side of the mountain.
Unfortunately the local populace deemed it fit to use as a drinking spot - plenty of broken bottles and "other" detritus which is sad because, asyou say the place has a beauty.

I'm not certain that they ever had any productions or events there after the opening, just a LOT of ad hoc boozing and bonking ( as evidenced from the detritus).
Would be nice for a small theatrical event if cleaned up, just beware of the glass shards

Thanks - the spark can do quite well - and the jerk seems to be improving with time- just takes practice.
If you are a jerk and you practice hard enough you can become a perfect jerk

Ah but there is undesirable garbage and then there is UNDESIRABLE garbage. We have both tipes here, most of which we can do without

Specially when it spoils our much sought after footage of a really pleasant place
