I won't be trading up from my M2 btw.
Even though it is a huge upgrade, the downside of the limitations of a 250g+ drone 'weigh' more than the improved drone capabilities....

I'm going to hold out for the DJI Pro 3 (if that is what it is called under DJI's new naming theme) as it appears to be only an incremental upgrade over my MA2.

Yeah, Dji is really disappointing on the launch of the M3. I would have thought that time is now for the launch of that drone but they come out with an upgrade to the Air - go figure

Yup. I heard that there was to be some changes in the drone regulations here recently, still waiting for it. something about drone has to have remote ID etc

If it is not CE C1, it is clearly not aimed at the European market.
After 1,5 years (transitional period) it is a lot less useful because it goes to A3 only.

Yeah, not so sure about DJI's recent strategy.  Upgrade Mavic Mini to DJI Mini 2 within 8 months and now Mavic Air 2 to DJI Air 2S within 11 months yet haven't upgraded Mavic 2 in almost 3 years.

I'm hoping it's massive.  I've seen posts and listened on POD casts suggesting a DJI Pro 3 release in Sep 2021 or Jan 2022.  Guess we just have to wait and see.

Yup, given that I had to bite the bullet on the Air2S and get it i will also get the Pro version when it comes
