There is no information about this update on you support pages.

A few days ago people started noticing that when connected to assistant, it automatically updated The P330CB firmware to version 1.0.2.8 from version 1.0.2.7.

Please could you explain what changed in this update.

Do you know if this update stops you using a battery with battery firmware 1.6.0.0 ? I have one battery with firmware 2.0.0.0 and one with 1.6.0.0. They are both original DJI batteries.  I have seen people on other forums saying their 1.6.0.0 batteries have stopped working after the p330cb 1.0.2.8 update.

They are blocking Third party lipos that have 1.6.0.0 firmware on that way they blocked some original lipos too. What a shame company!

Dont let users have the freedom to choose whats the best for them.

Hi, what do you mean the 1.6.0.0 battery stops working? Is there any error message? Would you please kindly send us a screenshot of the error message to support@dji.com. Thanks in advance.

To fix DJI updates without user permission just do this:

Windows only:
Go to C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS/ETC/HOSTS file (it's a plain ASCII text file that you can edit directly with Windows Notepad), like so:

add this
127.0.0.1 dji.com

And restart, now i can connect to DJI servers, problem solved, enjoy using the assistant without DJI sneaking with auto updates!
