No second dial on the remote looks odd.
As if this is not the 'pro' line

Same remote as the Mini 2,   one video shows the model as RC231 which is the same as the one that came with my Mini 2.

Exactly.
So there is still room for a 'pro' model on top of the Air.

Indeed a DJI Pro 3 (as per the new naming standards) sounds likely still.

I'm curious what that will bring.
Not that I'm about to upgrade.
I like the options I'm getting with my M2 more than the 'lesser' image quality.

From the couple of unboxing videos I’ve seen so far it doesn’t appear to have the EU C classification which makes it a bit of a disappointment.  Not really interested in buying a new drone that won’t be legal to fly near anything next year.

Unfortunate to hear that. Won't they probably release a version with the EU C classification though? They'd be missing out on a huge market like that.

Well that's a bit of a crappy move. This can come back and haunt them later on if other consumer drone manufacturers slowly plant root and get hold of the market in some areas.

You're welcome DA.    I'm always interested in new DJI products but this time I'm really going to hold out and see what the DJI Pro 3 offers.  Rumors seem to bear that the Air 2S will not have EU C classifications so I'm thinking that will negate many sales in the EU.

Id agree,  without that classification I think quite a few people will pass,  when you register a drone here now it specifically takes you through checking the classification so people are becoming more aware.

Glad to hear they are including the classification check in the registration process.  Unfortunately, by that point one would have already purchased the drone.  I guess that's where due diligence and good pre-buy research plays a critical role.

Yes,  its pretty good and gives the consumer some reasonable protection.
