This is not the greatest video; I was playing around with different exposures and trying not to put the M2P in the river.  When I put the quad up, it had 12 satellites, but at about 2m above the water it was not staying stationary.  LOL, I was trying to keep myself in place, and trying to keep the quad from flying south on me.  I was able to get it out from under the 'canopy' and take it to about 4m where it stabilized.  I assume the water was messing with it - gps can only do so much in realtime.

My heartrate was a little high when I was fighting for control LOL -

I usually take the Mini with me for this, it's a little easier to manage it feels like, and the stakes are certainly lower

@kyalami - thanks, I've hand launched a ton of times, but this was the first time the water affected positioning as heavily.
