My take on the Hugeunot monument in Franschoek Western CapeSouth africa with the Mini2 on a sunny day. I had to hide in a nearby hedge to be able to see on my cellphone screen in the bright sunlight.
I tried (symbolically) to incorporate some French history in the shot with things like the passage of time, the persecution and guillotine, the release in south Africa on their settlement etc. Part of my heritage. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huguenot_Monument
I think the lady in the statue is most atrractive.

Interesting place. BTW - that screechy startup sound you have at the beginning of your videos sort of impairs the mood of the soft music later.
How dare you Captain Depp!! You have mortally wounded me! I'll have you know that that screechy sound is the dulcit tone of my beloved spark starting up - in short - the DJI sound.
I therefore challenge you to a duel at sunrise - bring your own church organ!
Actually I'm not that impressed with the screechy sound myself and willingly aquiess to your suggestive suggestion and will summarily have it put down at the local vet as befits a noisy screecher.
Took a photo of the monument about two years ago with my spark and the pool was not so full of leaves - can't rely on the pool cleaners these days!
Glad you liked it

Thank you. With the latest update of Fly I seem to be having an issue with exposure and my gimbal seems to be mis-behaving.
Ja, with the new slider. I never had a problem before - had it on auto.
Need to play around more with that in the next day or two to get used to it I guess
