Why is the DJI Air 2S $326 USD more expensive in my country than the US?

This is just straight up profiteering.

I wonder if DJI will price match themselves ?

I’m afraid you need to talk to those who raise taxes in your country. Title should read Australian government profiteering, and is basically the same in Europe .

Same here in the UK,  its the local tax that bangs the price up.  The US price often doesn't include the sales tax as each state is different.

Exactly. In the US the VAT (or sales tax) is paid at the counter as it changes from State to State. In Europe the price is including VAT (in my country 23% tax).

23% - ouch,  we increased ours a few years back from 17% to 20% and that was harsh, but 23 - ouch.

23% on almost everything apart from basic goods. Cars inclusive have two taxes, the VAT and Car tax. The combined tax for expensive cars is more than the price of the car. My car had a combined tax of over 80% the price of the car set by the manufacturer.

You must be operating of the Irish system
