Does anyone know if the two are compatible?

+2, I'm very interested in flying my Air 2S with the V2 goggles!  Any estimate on when this may happen (assuming it's in the works) would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered.  My Mavic 2 batteries are getting out of date.  They top out at 97% after a charge instead of 100%.  It's time for a new drone.

I cancelled the order after hearing the DJI Smart Controller freezing up requiring a full reboot while the 2S was flying.

I'm not sorry, but being told to watch the firmware update news is NOT an answer. It's got the tech to support it, DJI can say YES clearly but they are choosing not to do so. I am a pre-order Inspire 1 drone owner, I've been with and will continue to stick with DJI but we need a clear YES, I'm fine waiting a few months to even half a year so the FPV and 2S cycles don't bother one another over the FPV allure, but have been using a Headplay unit with HDMI out from my inspire 1 controllers for years, it's where the everyday drone must go.

I'm hearing today there is no plan to make the v2 goggles compatible with the Air 2s, or possibly any other OcuSync 3 product. Is this true?

I purchased the DJI FPV combo assuming the v2 goggles would work with future OcuSync 3 products. I also purchased the new Air 2s and this is a very disappointing update. Flying with the goggles is much better than looking at a phone screen. Is there a reason why the v2 goggles will not work with the new Air 2s?

My belief is that is probably a marketing decision.

oh, it's sad!  I bought it in expectation that there will be compatibility ... but since such a turn, I will send it back, let the marketers from dji rejoice at their joke ...

Only thing that's stopping me from buying this is I can't use goggles

So upset. I bought the Air 2s as a Dji Fpv drone owner because i heard the about the googles compatibility on vlogs that were confirmed by Dji on forums claiming to check next updates. Unfiortunatly too late to return the drone

Yes, verry diaspointing. The FPV is missing everything a pilot would like to take Photos and the air 2s is missing FPV... Of cause there are still the mavic 2 pro and zoom but without 4k@60fps and without 5k... A big mess....
With FPV the air 2s would be the perfect drone fora lot of pilots but it seems DJI dorsn't care much about consumer whishes.

Is there any update on this? Looking at christmas presents and my husband wants the FPV goggles, I want a superior camera. Do any mavics work with the FPV goggles or hand controller?

I have seen a number of videos on YouTube that use VR googles with the mavic air 2S  and it works fine. The only issue is the you need a longer cable that is continually powered for it to work. So dont get rid of your Air2s there is a work around.

As far as I know, FPV cannot be used with 2s drone.
But I don’t know if DJI’s engineers will design it in the future.

I use an HDMI cable from the Smart Controller to the Goggles RE It works just fine with the Air 2S.
