Great,  Im looking forward to flying with this version today.   

The interface is better but there are bugs I can no longer choose the h264 and a message appears that the battery is not installed properly. Something I didn't have before the update.
Do you have these problems, too

Much better UI.    Just hope no bugs pop up.  

Is the 264 compression not available anymore ?
Is the battery issue a single issue or is it a global bug ?

Are you at 4K60 or 4K30 where dicovered that there was only H.265 shown ?
In 4K60 it was already before, that there was only H.265. In lower framerates you should be able to switch to H.264.

Today the weather is nice and i had the chance to test the new version of the Fly app 1.4.0 and to check nearly all functions.
Result after 3 batteries : No issues on technical point nor with the Fly app. Nothing new for the MA2 but a new Firmware on the RC.
Some menues have been reorganised or renamed, but nothing to get familiar with again.
The biggest change is on the photo and video selection slideouts. Some of them moved to the bottom of the screen for easier access.
All in all, i like the UI.

BTW. No issues with the batteries.

What about coverage? Did you notice any difference after changing the RC firmware?

I was only approx. 200m-300m away from homepoint because i could not see it after that distance. Within that range no issue.

Can someone test the attitude indicator in flyapp 1.4.0 with your MA2 or other drone, I have problem with this on my mini.

I did have the battery message first time after update. I took it out, and clicked it back it, and worked fine for 5 times , since thats all ive flown it. Have no clue why it did it the first and only time?? Oh, on ma2

I have seen this once flying the first battery after the update, but did not pay too much attention to it as the attitude indicator had always issues, since it was introduced.
It seems to be an angle calculation bug in the fly app 1.4.0
.

The 1.4.0 update messed up Obstacle Avoidance (OA). Every time I turn it on from the screen icon the Gimbal Mode changes from Follow to FPV and so I have to open up the Control panel and switch it back. What a PITA! But yes, the new camera controls are a big improvement, DJI just needs to fix OA behavior back to where it was before.

Not any sorry idea but I contacted the support who told me to redo the firmware update via Assistant2 and since more battery concerns
