I got a message in my updated fly app that there's a new DJI Mini 2 firmware available? Any details on a changelog?

Is it new Firmware for the Mini2? Or for the controller?


The only FW I am aware of is for the RC-N1 controller and that simply enables support for the Air2S..

It says DJI Mini 2, so I guessed it would be the Mini2 itself.
I tried to update, but it obviously needs a connected Mini, will hook it up in a sec

Okay, I connected the Mini2 and found out you were right, it is the controller's FW update...Pretty dull the app announces it as a Mini 2 update though...

Weird.. In my app, it specifically says "New DJI RC-N1 firmware available".

And then when I hit "download" (Without my Mini2 connected) I get "more" where I can see the release note.

Here's what I saw (I didn't make a screenshot of the first 'announcement' where it prompted me to download the new Mini2 firmware)

Supposedly makes it easier to use the remote on multiple drones.

Same thing just happened to me on my MA2, it was announced as "New MA2 Firmware available", so I thought it was an Aircraft Update. Will also update the Mini 2 RC.

i don't think this is an rc-only update.  if you plug the rc directly into your comptuer and fire up dji assistant....nothing.

It didn't mention in the release notes that it was updating anything else than the RC. I've never used DJI Assistant for anything.
