Yup, I tried hyper lapse yesterday and pano shots. Worked quite well even the range test I got about 2800 meters before it cut off

Yes, I tried this feature twice and both times no props came in the video, not sure how the other ones that I have seen showing props
Yup, I tried Mastershot and also had the props appear in the video. Also, had them show up in a video where I was flying manually. Do you think there's any chance a firmware update can resolve this issue or is it something we're just going to have to deal with?

Not sure how the props are getting in there. Are you doing it in a very windy day?

Nope, the day I saw the props in Mashershot and the manual flight video was a calm day, no wind at all. I sure hope this is something that can be resolved with a firmware update.

Try moving out of obstacle avoidence mode to composition mode in the app this should get rid of props in the shot....

Not sure why that is happening, I try again when the weather clears up here and post back here
It's a bit of a gimmicky addition that seems to have been adding purely as a selling point, there's no reason the air2 couldn't have these added but it's just a checkbox "feature" to differentiate the 2 drones. Would be more interesting if they had added the flight modes as separate options, dolly zoom etc rather than them being smashed together into 1 preset flight plan.
Conditions: Calm wind, nice day mid afternoon. Nice wide open soccer aka football field not used yet due to pandemic.
Subject: myself about 30 feet (~9m) away, height/altitude of drone 50 feet (~16m) high
First test in 1080p and caught a minor blip of the props around ~29s to 31s mark on the right side just barely with no other issues. (see video below)
Second test in 4K, no prop issues found
Still early to tell and want to do more tests of this "feature". Maybe wind and/or resolution can be a factor. Anyway as others reported, while it maybe a gimmick or so, if I were a beginner or wanted something quick to use without fancy drone moves, this Mastershot stuff is actually pretty cool. Its next step to autonomous flights.
