Does it work for you with an earlier version? In my opinion, an update of the flyapp is superfluous anyway.

Yes it should be like that, but not for this latest verison . Aready tried ver. 1.2.4 - 1.3.1 working fine for me. For now I only use version 1.1.0. I have been uninstall installed cleanly, delete all cache and DJI folder, reboot phone, still no good.
I will have to wait for everyone to test it, if this bug only affects on my phone or not.

That's interesting to watch.  That's one that if I could, I would go right outside and do a test flight, but it's WAY too windy for me to fly here today...
What phone are you using?
BTW, do you really have over 10,000 Kilometers of flight distance, or did yours get stretched out by the forum software?

I'm using xiaomi redmi 9.
I dont know how this forum calculate flight distance. I only have 4758 km flight distance on my flyapp flight data center and always sync all my flight record.

How far away from the drone were you when that was recorded? If under 100 meters, that could explain it. The GPS is not as exact in your device, but normal. See if that happens when you are farther away.

Problem confirmed.  The wind died down this afternoon and I was able to take my original Mini up for three short flights.
Flight #1 using Motorola G7 Power android phone with 1.4.0(937-official).  Problem observed almost exactly as the OP reported.
Flight #2 using Samsung Galaxy Tab A android tablet with 1.4.0(937-official).  Problem observed almost exactly as the OP reported.
Flight #3 using my @#$%^ iPhone 8 phone with 1.4.0(451).  The display operated correctly.

Aircraft firmware:  01.00.0500
Aircraft FlySafe database:  01.00.01.19

To answer Gary's thought, I did not go all that far away, and I would have to look at the data to give an exact number, but about 150 yards on each flight.  Mainly enough that the display clearly showed that there was distance from the aircraft.  I seem to recall that the iPhone (which decided to change me to metric), showed 152 meters.

I have tested more than 2km (6561ft) away to the sea, and became panicked after seeing the HP's position glitch it self out of the blue and bring back again for safer distance and test it again still same glitchy.

I think this is a bug found on android version only.
Let's hope DJI fix this immediately.

Se me actualizó a la 1.4, y he perdido la vista de cámara del drone, (Un Mini 1) pese a que la he desinstalado, reiniciado el celular ( Un galaxy S21, en el que funcionaba perfectgo la version anterior)) y vuelto a instalar y nada!!
No puedo volar.

Well , at that point if your only drone is a Original Mini .. there is no reason to update beyond 1.10.   The original Mini is pretty dead to DJI and will never add new features

Yeah, old MM1 has been long forgotten by dji forever sadly.
I only use flyapp 1.1.0. BTW, I'm not hoping they add more feature to MM1, I'm just curious to test this version if there any significant UI changes or not. If nothing exciting, I just go back and forth installing the old one.

Yup 1.4.0 android full of bug.

I'm currently using the older flyapp 1.1.0 (support only for mini 1 and Air 2).
Version that work best for me:
1.1.0 (currently)
1.1.9
1.1.10
1.2.4
Wait for dji to fix android version for latest version.
