Thats interesting, so its not OC3 but OC2. So there might be a future update to enable this then.

The drone itself has OC3, as they're now calling it. With 2 extra antennas for a total of 4, plus a range of 2 more kilometers than the MA2. The controller is compatible with the the updated transmission signal. So the OC3 is there, ready to enjoy.

As I see it, the drone transmits at O3 and O2, but the remote can only receive at O2, so unless the drone is enabled to use the new FPV goggles, or perhaps a new Smart Controller ll that's got O3, I don't see how we can benefit from O3 at the moment...  

Good job, its a nice bit of kit, perfect travel companion, I think we might see joystick and goggles being made compatible in the future. Thank you for the effort.

Another great video Ian.    I'm going to wait and see what DJI Pro 3 offers.

The extra antennas in the drone may give a small benefit even at OC2.

People are seeing an increase in resolution on the controller's live view and noticeably less lag time, if any. And they are seeing increased range over the the MA2. So the transmission between drone and controller has definitely improved.

They said there would be a service to swap cameras in the Mavic Pro but that never happened so my guess is it’s unlikely.
