DJI notified the availability of the waterproof case last week. Planning to use while snorkeling the Great Barrier reef next February. However, extreme disappointment on reading the description. The only control while using waterproof case is the shutter-record button. After expanding Description and under tips it says, "The camera cannot be adjusted when using the waterproof case."

Pulled out my 6 year old Olympus TG-4, 16MP underwater camera. Happily surprised battery hold the charge. All controls, zoom, photo, video, flash etc. work under water. Will stick with this.

I was considering the case for use while scuba diving.  Definitely will pass on it now.  Thanks for the heads up.  

you can buy an osmo action, its really good in the water for $200 and its also an exceptional action camera...

I wouldn't buy anything more from DJI.  Their Quality & Support are dropping fast and they weren't that great to begin with.   My money votes for me.  No more DJI until there is an improvement.

My TG-4 is the camera I keep with me always.
