Been fighting the electronics and my own stupidity: At the first stop the fpv drone wasn't bound - had no internet reception to look up how o fix it. Flew the Mini 2 at least. At the second location, the reservoir, I didn't dare put the fpv drone in manual mode and was too afraid to fly beneath eh bridges. S mode is a bit jerky. At the third location I didn't take the time to nicely circle with the fpv and at the forth I forgot to turn recording back on after stopping it to be able to switch to manual camera controls. After that - without recording - I finally managed a few decent moves - shame on me and DJI's camera controls.
The locations at least were quite alright: a few cliffs near a former mill (nothing left of that), a reservoir near Neustadt, Harz, the ruined castle Ebersburg (built around 1200, abandoned around 1600, the keep is 19 m high and its walls up to 4,5 m thick) and finally outside the natural reserve near the "bell stones".

Very nice flight. Many different motives, nicely edited, beautiful nature. I see that you are enjoying yourself with a new toy. All the best.
Thanks a lot. Yes, it's very enjoyable, but also a bit scary :-)
You're right. Still not brave enough, also have to find a place to practice dives. But I might have been able to pull out of the dive right before the no-fly-zone-nature-reserve that begins a couple of meters behind the dam.

I don’t blame you. The thought of diving and crashing fills me with fear.

We're back in the UK already. Just waiting out our 10 day quarantine, then down to the medical centre for our vaccinations.
