Hi

I have a Mini 2 all is fine except when I record in 4K video definition every time I download from the Mini 2 to my phone the transcoding fails, it seems OK in 2.7K & 1080p.

I have updated the app to 1.4.0 I didn't try it before I updated as I have only had the drone about 2 weeks and am still learning what it can do.

I hope someone can come up with a solution.

Probably your phone is not on the compatible list, and may be a bit under powered. DJI Stephen will respond soon.

The fly app cannot view or edit 4k recordings. If you try it will report transcoding error. This is not a fault. Have you tried just viewing the 4k video directly from the sd card, take the microsd card out of the drone and read it on your pc or phone using a sd card reader.

Yes I can view and edit the 4K video in 3rd party software but thought there was a fault with my phone or the app, is there going to be a point in the future when the app san edit $k video?

On another note, I have had a royalty issue with one of the sound tracks from the app, Youtube are saying that the copyright for "Techno Dreams Alternative Mix" is held by someone else.

I thought that all the music tracks in the app were OK to use and royalty free?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab A T307u and it won't edit 4k either. It works just fine on 27k It is disheartening b/c now I have to learn Davinci and(OMG) the learning curve is steep!

Many phones are just too underpowered to handle DJI 4K.

See here, its certainly royalty free. This does not automatically mean that you do not have to attribute the music to the source. Did you acknowledge copyright?

Point YT to the link as it has the owner on it and it shows it as RF media
