A quiet, sunny lunchtime by the fishing pond at a neighbouring village was an opportunity to put the Mini One through its paces.
There have been reports of mishaps and splash-landings, but this attempt gave no signs of problem.
I made sure to be flying away from the sun, to avoid possible problems with reflections into the lens.The height above the water surface was about 2 metres.

Nicely done, I keep meaning to do some low water flying but always forget.

Thanks   It was nice and calm, and I was feeling confident enough to try threading the needle between the two posts as well.

Well, I was sat directly behind the drone and it was at my eye level, so I had a clear sight-line along its direction of travel

Nope, for sure

Don't go too low because it can trigger the automatic landing. I had this twice and you have to react quickly to get the drone up before touchdown. D!RK

2 metres is close enough for me   I don't intend getting any closer than that.

I tried it once flying at the edge of a beach. I did experience a slight downward twitch, I read that it was probably caused by the sensor doing a wobbly over water. So I was always nervous since. 2 meters should be ok though.
