On the way back from Dewsbury in the UK this morning with the FPV Drone. Waverley Lake and the old site of the Orgreave pit - Famous in the coal miners strike of 84/85 and the Battle of Orgreave - Striking miners and Police from all over Yorkshire clashed together in an almighty battle. Now being re-developed into a mahoosive residential area. A dark part of Sheffield's past. Full TX and goggle signal all the way round and still had 2 blobs left on the battery on landing. Default camera setting's with colour and contrast changed in post. The full circuit flown is approx 2.13km and it handled it like a boss -

Done this spot before but never done the distance till today. The lake was covered in mist as I drove past on the way to my work area at 0600hrs today, so was cursing that I missed it. Might try at the weekend if not out on the moors again.

Don't you just hate it when work interferes with flying.  LOL.  Looking forward to see what you film this weekend.
