I bought the DJI FPV to simply enjoy flying around....

today, I had my first flight with the Motion Controller, and wow...

I enjoy the sticks, but this was different, I could just go with the flow, just relax and fly around, it feels so natural.
(I think this will be great to hand over to friends and family who have no stick experience)

I followed a crow , for a few seconds, from very far away once. That's the best bird video I've managed. Pardon me if I don't post it.

Just a reminder that birds are part of our environment and I'm sure they're not familiar to the drones that is why they might react aggressively when they notice it. Again, great work and please fly safe always. .

these are griffon vultures, they are huge, with 2-3m wingspans - so they fly more like boeing 747s, than spitfires

totally agree @DJI Stephen, Im always careful around birds (well any animals) - if they seem stressed, Id fly away.however, these were not at all fussed by the drone, as you can see they just continue to ride the currents, a few flying close, I think to see what it was.
(I'm not sure these vultures any natural predators, so perhaps its why they are so relaxed)
even after I landed they were still circling my house 10 minutes later.  

but still, they are many times bigger and heavier than the drone, so still need to take care.

we also have eagles and hawks here, and for sure, I think those are much more likely to consider attacking the drone.

this drone is wonderful, gives us so many opportunities - i look forward to exploring more
