A couple of months ago, I posted a shot of a snow-covered scene.
On this day, the sun was out and the scene couldn't have been more different.

Thanks.  Travelling is a nightmare just now. Getting back to the UK has been very stressful. Still in quarantine for a few more days.

Nice place and great shot. The roofs of the houses have a sharp angle. Such roofs are made in our country where there is a lot of snow.

Thanks. Yes, it's a useful feature to have when there's heavy snow - although these days that's almost unknown in those parts.  The most we've ever experienced here in 20 years  is a few centimetres.

Yes, that would be the chateau gardener. The castle is an hotel these days, and the gardens are kept in good order.

Great shot of the castle Blériot.    I think it looks much better with the snow gone.  The grounds appear to be well maintained.

Hi Roger.
Yeah.
Still hard at work.
Starting to get to the finishing stage now.
Yesterday I sanded down all the filled screw holes in the ceiling and gave them a bit of primer.
Next job will be to hide some smaller gaps between the wall and the wood with some sealant before I can move on to the first layer of paint.
After 2 layers, I can move on to painting the walls.
And after that it is time to insulate the floor and put the flooring in.
Some small things after that, but that should be about it.
