My spark remote only will activate take off and landing after the last update. I've tried deleting the assistant, reinstalling, downgrading updates, nothing works. The drone finds the assistant but the remote won't no mater what sequence I try. So, I've never been able to update the remote from the assistant. Any remote updates are from sitting outside without wifi, waiting forever for an update to install. At this point I'm ready to sell the drone/remote online for a huge loss in $$, unless some kind person can help me.

I tried what you suggested, same result as before, no response to the controller other than take off and landing. Tried to contact support and they are unavailable. I'd sell the drone if it worked. As it is no one would buy it.
