I shot some Sphere Panoramas which looked nice on my tiny iphone screen.

However, once uploaded to facebook , it looked pretty low-res.

1)      1) By chance, is there some non-obvious setting to increase the resolution for pics used in the panoramas?

2)      2)  What software do you use to view the panoramas on a windows pc?  If I viewed it locally, that would rule out Facebook resolution issues.

Thanks,
Mike

I believe if you're uploading the pano from the phone and not the drone, those are low res. If you've saved it to the MicroSD or drone directly, the high res are stored there.

To view the panos locally, use FSP Viewer. Download from here => http://www.fsoft.it/FSPViewer/

You could also upload the pano to SkyPixel then share a link. It will give viewers the cool sphere effect then zoom in to the pano. Alternatively you can also upload to Google Photos and share a link to view the pano.

Thanks @7
They offer 3 different downloads for the pc,

Which one would be compatible with the 2s camera?

The automatic 360º panaromas that the drone makes are quite high res, about 33MP or so (more than enough for social media or google maps), but you can do a full res one by stitching the DNGs with PTGui (will be massive, 233MP or so).

"Automatic 360s"?

Is that something different than what I did?  From memory, I think I picked pano (as opposed to video or photo), then sphere.

This pano (I realize it won't display as a sphere here) is 13 megs:

If you uploaded it to SkyPixel (same DJI account creds) and posted a link here, it would show as a sphere/pano.

Example...

They offer 3 different downloads for the pc,

I have NO idea!
I just downloaded  one for watching 360's offline!

And for stitching BIG, you can use the sphere series in
ICE (Microsoft freeware)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ ... e-composite-editor/
or try to get a luminar Version, sometimes there are free version from last/sec. last year
https://skylum.com/luminar

You just need to get yourself a "top" sky, then.
That is, what the automated 360 is creating, the upper third in your first (and flat) 360 in this topic.

ICE is easy to handle, there are good video tutorials on YouTube, from fellow pilots.

Thanks again @7 for suggesting the Ricoh offline viewer.

I picked the RICOH THETA Z1 (first column) and it worked fine with my Air 2s.

I love the auto-rotate feature so you get the cool globe effect.  I can having it running on one of my external monitors as a super cool dynamic "screen saver" so when people walk by, they say: #WOW !!!

Those pano videos are incredible.  So I am a newbie but if I do a 360 pano and upload it to skypixel it will make this type of video?
