Hi,

so, i got another backup drone, atleast i tought so...

After pairing the glasses and controller, the drone will not take off. Back light is green, no error messages etc.

The props spin full power, but no liftoff. Remote is set to mode 2, props are correctly placed.

If i rebind the controller and glasses to my other FPV, there is no issue.

Have tried the following;
Firmware reset of the drone
Firmware downgrade and upgrade of the glasses
Reset the glasses
Switched out props
Switched out battery
Tried mode 1, then mode 2 again

Like i said, the props are spinning, and go full RPM when throttle is up, but it just wont lift off!

Any idea? Broken hardware?

It sure seems like some of the ESCs were incorrectly wired. You either contact DJI for a replacement or breakout the soldering iron. The prudent choice is likely contacting DJI. Personally, I'd breakout the soldering iron.

Was thinking the same at first, but i have checked, they rotate the same way as the working fpv.

wow, just RMA the drone

If anyone has problems like this do not open the drone or DJI may not repair it under free warranty.

No.

It seems that the motors are indeed reversed.

The front 2 spin inwards, the back 2 outwards.

The flying drone, front goes out, back goes in.

So that is the issue, gonna try the props the wrong way around.

It could be out of control.  Just RMA it.  It could throw off the other autonomous features.

Yep, they are.

Enabled the motor shutdown feature just to be sure and took off. It spins like crazy on the yaw axis, and tried to fly away, so had to kill the motors and let it crash.

Ill see what DJI wants on monday after i contact them.

That is why you had to send it in before letting it fly.  Did you have the DJI Care Plan?

I got it for a price i can afford to try it ;p

No, my main fpv has care refresh.
Still a factory issue, because motors dont just randomly invert.
