Using a ND32 from Freewell today I got "gimbal overload" errors and actually loss of functionality when the bimbal was pointing down all the way, anyone else having this issue? are the freewells maybe too heavy for this gimbal?

I use them without any issues, but its always possible if your gimbal is on the weak side of tolerances that its possible that the filters may be too heavy

Yes i sometimes have this message too. Especially when i fly very fast ie in sportmode
Also with the freewell nd filter i sometimes see somekind of glare in my footage

I got the same today and here's my observation:
It's not the weight but it's because when pointing the camera down, or when the camera does the startup balance, with filter on it will hit the edge and give the overload error.
So it's the size of it not the weight
