I got the a2s and I am extremly dissapointed about the fpv gimbal mode that so many youtubers praise aise "race drone style" flying
but the way its implemented it is a beginner  airplane mode because the gier rates are automatically restricted to almost 0
you can only gier with roll sticks , wich makes it impossible to do thight turns ...you only get heay camer roll but no roll on the drone
feels completely unnatural and out of controle
is tere any way to get acces to more setting in the dji assitant?

Never understood the purpose of restricting the third axis... like pretending your quadcopter has wings and flies like a plane XD

A flying steady cam, that's what looks awesome. One of the first thing that impressed me about DJI drones is that they could record that perfectly stabilized footage and that they could snap such a good gimball on a little quad.

FPV mode is like meh IMO.

Dji have an FPV drone, if you thought that this drone was going to offer more than your $300 fpv, you got that badly wrong. These drones are 95% designed with photography videography in mind and it’s always been the case. I don’t believe you were listening to fpv racers.
But all that said this drone can probably give you some good fpv footage one thing seriously lacking in any good fpv drone, unless you like throwing up your breakfast every time you have to sit through it.
If you didn’t buy this drone for all the things it’s great at, you made a serious mistake

Yeah....... I haven't seen too many raves about the FPV mode on YouTube.  It’s mentioned as a feature, but that’s about it.   There are better drones for that kinda flying...

and of course there is always a better tool for special shots
but  I dont bring 3 different drones on a 3 hour hike

all I need is camera roll that  is linked and smoothed  to the aircraft roll
all the dji drones should have this...I did  this on alexmos  years ago and its super useful

Still think you will get some interesting usable footage in FPV mode.

the as2 is crazy good for most people thats for sure, its just the neverending wish to have more customization flexibility with dji products...it just a few number to punch in and it would make the big difference  
to do stuff a little different
