Anyone who knows where on the Matrice 300 the lay/long on waypoint are measured?
When I create a waypoint mission what part of the drone is at that given lat/long coordinates?

Is it centered on the drone or at the RTK antennas or at the payload/camera?

Thanks

Interesting question. You could probably figure this out pretty easy by setting a ground target at the exact Lat Long position as the starting point of the planned flight mission. you would need a high order rtk GPS connected to a network / VRS connection and then you would need to plan your flight in DJI terra or import a KML file with your flight path. Then make sure you use the same VRS / network to fly your mission. If you set the first point on the flight path to be the same ground target position Theoretically the camera should fire at the same position for the first photo of the mission. From here you would need to process the flight data in a program like pix 4d and compare the lat long coordinate position to the camera position. You could convert to feet or meters at this time to simplify the math as well. Can I ask why you would need to know something this exact?
