I am aware that the Tello edu can be programmed with Python, but can the regular Tello drone be programmed with Python? Or is it only swift? Thanks for any help!
Dear customer,
Regular Tello support python as well, please send to sdk@ryzerobotics.com for consulting, our engineers will reply you as soon as possible, please wait patiently.
Thanks in advance for your support!
Tello can be programmed in ANY programming language that has a library to send and receive data via UDP. Here's the list of most popular languages: https://tellopilots.com/wiki/development/
Tello drone has an API: you can send to a Tello commands as text strings (e. g."forward 30" ) and the drone will perform the corresponding actions (will fly forward 50 cm).
You can download the documentation on SDK from here: https://www.ryzerobotics.com/tello/downloads
It's programmable with Scratch, python on the computer. If you think it is a bit complicated, then you can also code on Tello Edu APP, Or on the swift playgrounds APP which is available on Ipad. Here you could find more information about this https://dojofordrones.employee monitoringcom/drone-programming/
