Here's the situation. I have a Mini 2, Mavic Air 2 and Air 2s.  I have an updated MA2 controller paired up with a TriplTek 1200 nit tablet and I have a Smart Controller.  I want to be able to use either of these with the MA2 and the A2s but every time I go to switch, it tells me I have to bind it to the aircraft to have flyaway protection.  It would seem to me that with something like the Smart Controller, we should be able to bind to whatever DJI drone we own and have registered with Refresh and Fly Away coverage without having to go thru the bind process.
I realize that I'm not the sharpest tack in the box so it's quite possible that I'm missing something here and if I am, I would greately appreciate someone pointing me in the the right direction for the correct procedure to avoid the "Binding" message every time.

Question: are any of you able to bind the SC or the standard controller to more than 1 drone?
