I'm experimenting with hyperlapses and getting a bit frustrated:

Was it simply too windy for the 2S to hold position well?

It had 21 GPS signals so I don't think it was that.

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

I know it can handle the wind especially in hyper lapse because I did one in 32km winds and it looked good.

Looks like you did some stabilizing in post? Because it's a bit warpy in places.

Nope, this was all done in the drone.

I did have the 2s shooting in JPG+RAW but I can't imagine that caused this.

I was flying at 390 feet high.

I believe the winds were 8pmh gusting to 15mph.

Earlier, I do recall Kittyhawk warning of high variability in the winds though I didn't look when doing this flight.

Weird.

Hi, Mike90210. Thanks for reaching out! We suggest taking another test using the Hyperlapse function in a less windy time/location to confirm if the problem could be eliminated. Based on the video, there are clearly signs of strong wind gusts (swaying of the tree branches and flags). In addition, we recommend performing both compass and IMU calibration before performing another test. Kindly let us know your feedback. Thanks!

My Air 2S is moving all around on Hyperlapse. Even tried drawing a box. I did not have that issue with the Air 2 -

This is what I'm going to do. IN the past IMU has fixed this the movement.

I have seen quite stable results from it.

Another thing that might help is having the drone move position slowly.

I didn't do any IMU stuff and got this good hyperlapse (though much lower and it wasn't as windy):

Didn't make any difference. The 2S is definitely not as stable as the 2 so far for me.
