I bought some mini strobes a while back and never used them because if you mount them the way the seller says to, you can't close the arms.  Since I have a 3d printer I fired up  Fusion360 and Designed these brackets to fit over the front of the legs and the lights get stuck on the bottom.  If you have a 3d printer you can get the stl file on thingiverse.
These lights do NOT meet the 3 mile requirement for night flight strobe.You can get these lights in red and green for Nav / Position lights.

If you mount the flashlights on the * rear * arms, these can also be folded up.

If you're talking about the brackets and not the velcro etc, then if you watched the video you can see that they aren't so loose that they can just pop off.
