Hi,

I've been searching this for 3 days now without any success.

I have Phantom2 vision+.

Installed Assistant, updated everything.

Still my Samsung Galaxy S3 wont allow me to access the camera or any icons on the main page of the vision app.

I've tried several iPhones (4S) with no problem.  Everything works A1 with same machine with any Apple iPhone.  Only my Samsung Galaxy S3 is behaving strage.

When I click on any icon, it keeps comming back to the first initial menu with the camera, album, news and settings icons.

The Phantom WiFi is connected no problem and I have disabled "Auto Network Switch" on my Galaxy S3.

Any help appreciated.

This is the ONLY thing that do not work in my setup!  Flew the machine with iPhones 3 times already but no luck flying with Samsung Galaxy S3.  This is my own phone and would like to use it and not have to borrow somebody else's iPhone to fly.

Vision + FC200 camera is 1.3.0g
MB can you list the versions of firmware, main board, vision app and camera ?
It is more than likely that you have old firmware on one of the systems.

Thank for your Help.

Here is what I see in Firmware update.

Got it!  The camera version is 1.3.0g

App version is 1.0.48(1677)

NAZA-M version is 3.14

So its not the version outdated that is my problem.

There really is a problem with Adroid system and DJI vision app because 3 different iPhones work flawlessly on my system.

Well that's odd.
I have used my Samsung S3 for over a year now and its been great.
I did have to delete and re-install the vision app once because of an error in the compass reading, but apart from that it has worked perfectly out of the box.
All I do is turn off mobile data on the phone.

I have been using the Samsung S3 for 4 months without any problems, works perfectly.  I have however just changed to a Samsung Tab S 8.4" as the screen is much brighter and more visible in bright sunlight (apart from being larger).

I tried deleting app and reinstall, no luck!
I tried to turn off mobile data (but then if you do so, how do you use Ground Control?)
I am lost!  3 different iPhones worked flawlessly but not my Galaxy S3

I fixed the issue with the menus not opening on my Nexus5. Your menus may be a little different but here is what I did.

Go to the "Developer options" under the settings menu.
Scroll down to "Don't keep activities".
Uncheck box for: " Destroy every activity as soon as the user leaves it".

Or just turn off the "Developer options" if you don't need it. I leave it on because I use USB debugging.

Hope this fixes your problem, as it fixed mine. DJI Vision works now!

JATO!

Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

You saved my life today.

Your solution did the trick.  I completely turn off the Developper Option.

I can now use DJI vision app on my Samsung Galaxy S3 on Android.

Ouf!

I will make sure if another help question like this come along, I will jump right away on it to share this solution as it took quite a while to have someone like you Jato to finally point me in the right direction.

Thanks again Jato.
