Hi all. I am missing something I think. In auto mode the auto exposure seems slow at best and many times exposes for the sky while under exposing the trees. The conditions were mostly cloudy. Earlier with partly cloudy conditions it would adjust the exposure for a sunny area but shaded areas were so dark I could not see any detail. Then when I would focus on an area in the shade it would very very slowly expose for that area but the sky and unshaded areas became very over exposed. My MP2 when set to auto is very quick to adjust exposure and the transition is smooth. Here is a short video of what I am talking about. I do not mind using manual mode but sometimes I like using auto. Something seems off or maybe its me that is off on something. Like I said my MP2 doesn't suffer from this issue. Any help or pointers would be great and much appreciated.
