Hi all

I am considering buying the Air 2S, but it seems that Waypoints is not supported on this model.
Does anyone knows why it isn't supoprted?

What models currently have Waypoints enabled on them?

That's interesting.

The Air 2S uses the app DJI Fly, like the Mavic Mini and Mini 2,
from what I know, the DJI Fly app does not yet include the Waypoints feature..
So even if the Drone's firmware supports it, the app on our phone needs to support it too.

Maybe anyone else has a different info?


BTW, on the same manner,
is it possible that the Mini 2 will also get the Waypoints feature?

That's interesting.

The waypoints only work for hyper lapse mode,  only the M2P supports true waypoints.   Unlikey it will be added as thats a selling point of the better spec drones.   It also looks like the SDK will not support Air2S so Litchi is out of the question too.

like saying it can do waypoints, but then be like yeah just hyperlapse waypoints not video.
I'm contacting DJI support every day and requsting that they add Mobile SDK support for the air 2S. I suggest everyone who wants this feature do the same so they know what we would like to see added.

Waypoints function is available in DJI GO4. However, this app only supports Mavic Air. Air 2S or Mini2  lie in the applicable list of DJI Fly.

Sorry but hyperlapse waypoints, is NOT waypoints, it's hyperlapse.  I don't know why DJI thinks that video waypoints are not necessary.  They are a very important tool to establish smooth, repeatable flight paths.

So, am I correct in assuming that this drone (Air 2S) will not shoot a continuous video using waypoints; that it will only shoot a series of photographs, then placing thise into a video?
