No option anymore,  its now annoyingly charging all the time.

Cannot download the Dji Fly app Version 1.4.3 on any of  my Android devices with a working Dji Fly App on Version 1.4.2. I am in Portugal and trying to download from the Dji Store website.

Personally I don’t mind that it charges. But there was really no reason to remove a toggle switch.

My m2p controller after 15 months is already not charging to 100% and I’m on the third  10000msh18650 battery bank because the first two stopped holding a good charge. Battery cycles wear out batteries, that’s a fact.

Does the M2P controller have the same capacity as the Air2S controller? Again- judging by the threads, etc- the vast majority of people would rather it charge the iPhone than *not* charge the iPhone. But no one seems to have an objection to a toggle switch.
As I said before- they are trying to dumb down Fly for the “non professional” drones, so I don’t think it’s coming back. Good thing it is likely that the 3Pro/Pro 3 is likely not too far away

So, given the option of *no* charging vs *default* charging- I think the vast majority would take default charging.

Actually the Mavic 2 standard RC has a capacity of 3950mah. Significantly lower than the Air2S RC capacity of 5200mah.

And I think you’re missing the point.  It’s the cycles on a battery that wear it out.  I do t charge the phone from the m2p controller and it’s already showing sign of wear.  Charging another device is only going to speed up that wear.  Also it was sold to me with an option to charge that’s now been taken away, that’s not what I purchased.

I still don’t think you understand it’s labelled as 9.6wh and it’s still using cycles on the battery that will wear it out faster.  18650 cells can loose capacity after only 300 cycles.

A). Stop trolling hallmark.  He’s known round these parts of his sensible posts and beautiful sunsets.

B) the fix will probably be a cable modification.  I’ve ordered a cable to test it out.
