Hi,

I would like to get an image of a wide area, all images taken vertically from the drone, and then assembled with some programs like ICE for example.

The idea is to get a vertical image of a wide area, so i need to define all points were images must be taken to have an overlap with the other images and be able to assemble them after.
How to define all these points, waypoints seems to be the right method, but we must take in account the area covered by the camera depending on the altitude chosen ?

I don't know if i am clear enough....

Use an app like DroneDeploy to do all the mission planning and manage the flight for you.
