No, I miss the image quality I could get from my MP.
The M2 is just not giving me that.
Especially for stills.
Video is ok on the M2 (still too contrasty for my likes) but for stills I miss the MP quality.
It was quite a bit better.

P2 is definitely an upgrade from the OP but it still has some shortcomings.  I bought a used one and had issues with the all in one handle so ended up selling it.  My neighbor has one and loves it but he didn't buy the combo as he didn't need all the extras.

I have to say I'm not as active anymore since our first kid was born, but 'we' have a nice harbor layout that is at my uncle's house.

I'm thinking about the standard package indeed.
Don't need the wireless mic and the 'do it all handle' seems a bit of an overkill for my expected use. (mainly motion timelapses)
I will need a good tripod adapter that allows for charging and mounting at the same time (now the USB port sits super close to the tripod screw).
Still not 100% sure, but I feel the P2 should be able to deliver nice motion timelapses and the best thing is that I can leave it without a phone (so in theory I have more opportunities to make long timelapses)
I'm really thinking about buying it soon. As summer is on the horizon.

I should be. My impulsive buying response is usually not the best in the long term....
The P2 is certainly one that leaves me in doubt .
On paper it is a perfect motion timelapse tool, but there are some things that might render it less useful for me in practice.
Have not made up my mind yet.

Not much band gigs (none).
Although we did do a small performance at an elderly home the other weekend and have one coming up in June.
